Healthy Schools Day 2019 focuses on actions to protect children from health effects of diesel school bus emissions

When: Healthy Schools Day is April 4th. What: Healthy Schools Day is an annual nation-wide campaign that promotes action for healthier learning environments for kids. This year’s campaign asks ‘Does your school get an ‘A’ for action on diesel emissions and children’s health?’ and promotes 4 actions to reduce exposures and protect kids. More at: www.healthyschoolsday.ca / www.lajourneedesecolesensante.ca Who: Healthy Schools Day is led by the Canadian Partnership for Children’s Health and Environment (CPCHE) in collaboration with multiple organizations. Since 2001, CPCHE has advanced the protection of children’s health and development from the risks posed by toxic chemicals and pollutants. A media release will be distributed on April 2, 2019.
