Madoc - Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for Hastings County's newest business Land Rover Salvage to open doors to public WHEN: Saturday, December 9th, at 2:00 pm WHAT: This Saturday, come participate in the Grand Opening celebrations for Centre Hastings' (Madoc) newest business, Land Rover Salvage. Hastings-Frontenac-Lennox and Addington MPP Leona Dombrowsky, Municipality of Centre-Hastings Reeve Thomas Deline, and a representative from the Madoc and District Chamber of Commerce will help Land Rover Salvage owners Dominic and Scarlett Perodeau cut the ribbon to officially open their newest business. Land Rover enthusiasts from as far away as Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto are expected to attend. Refreshments will be provided, courtesy of Amazing Coffee in Madoc. WHERE: 162 Russell Street, Madoc (one kilometer south of the intersection of Hwy 7 and 62). See maps below. Land Rover Salvage (LRS) will specialize in parts for the British luxury vehicle Land Rover. The new indoor salvage yard is an outgrowth of the Classic Carriage auto restoration company which the Perodeau's operated for several years on Queensborough Road in Madoc. The new business will be accessible through e-Bay and their website, www.landroversalvage.ca. They are a member of the largest Land Rover owners club in North America - The Ottawa Valley Land Rover Club. Madoc is strategically located half way between Toronto and Ottawa, allowing it to provide quick service to both areas by courier, mail and bus parcel express.
