Media Advisory What: Mariposa Solar Farm Inc. will host an information session for neighbours and Gravenhurst Township residents. Where: Severn Bridge Women’s Institute Community Hall, 1035 Southwood Road, Severn Bridge When: Thursday, March 21, 2013 - 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The information session will provide detail and information about a proposed solar farm project at 1136 Canning Road (just West of Baseline Road). It hopes to turn sunshine into electricity at this site for a 20-year period. The project will require approximately 50 workers to construct the project over a six-month period. The capital cost of the project will be approximately $30 million, spent in Ontario, using local goods and services, and employing local labour as much as possible.
